Deploying Microsoft Office Add-Ins

Introduction

The GovEagle Office Add-Ins enable teams to build outlines, draft content, and more right within Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Below are the instructions to deploy the Office Add-In to all authorized users. GovEagle supports Office Add-In deployments with commercial, GCC, and GCC High tenants. Navigate to the applicable instructions by clicking your tenant type below:

  1. Commercial/GCC

  2. GCC High

Commercial / GCC Deployment

Requirements

  • Must be an administrator of your Microsoft 365 tenant

Deployment Steps

  1. Open https://admin.microsoft.com/#/Settings/AddIns

    1. If you do not see anything on this screen, double check that you are logged into an Admin or Super Admin account

  2. Click Deploy Add-Ins

  1. Click “Next”

  1. If “Choose from Store” is an option, click “Choose from Store”

    1. If it is not an option, please jump to GCC/GCC High Deployment

  2. Search for “GovEagle”

  3. Click “Add” on the GovEagle Add-In

  4. Click “Continue”

  5. Provide access to the add-in to anyone who has a GovEagle seat

    1. Ensure you give yourself access as well

  1. Click “Deploy”

GCC High Deployment

Requirements

  • Must be an administrator of your Microsoft 365 tenant

  • Must have access to the GovEagle Add-on manifest.xml file (Provided by GovEagle)

  1. Open https://portal.office365.us/Adminportal/Home?#/Settings/AddIns

    1. If you do not see anything on this screen, double check that you are logged into an Admin or Super Admin account

    2. If you are on a Commercial tenant but don’t have Store Access, then use this link: https://admin.microsoft.com/#/Settings/AddIns

  2. Click Deploy Add-Ins

  1. Click “Next”

  1. If “Choose from Store” is an option, navigate back to Commercial, otherwise click “Upload Custom Apps”

  1. Upload provided manifest.xml file from your computer

    1. If you have not received this, reach out to support@goveagle.com

  1. Provide access to the add-in to anyone who has a GovEagle seat

    1. Ensure you give yourself access as well

  1. Click “Deploy”

  2. Make sure you can follow the steps in Activating Your Account & Add-in Setup
