Setting up Teams Chat

Every GovEagle customer has their own Teams chat with the GovEagle Customer Success and Engineering team. This allows us to rapidly respond to feedback, questions, and support requests. GovEagle supports Teams chats with commercial, GCC, and GCC High tenants. Navigate to the applicable instructions by clicking your tenant type below:

  2. GCC/GCC High

Commercial Teams

  1. Navigate to https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/

  2. Click on “Users” in the side panel

  1. Click on “External access” under Users

  1. Ensure that either “Allow all external domains”, “Allow only specific external domains”, or “Block only specific external domains” is selected

    1. If “Block all external domains” is selected, GovEagle support will not be accessible via Microsoft Teams chat

  1. If necessary, add the following as an external domain: goveagle.onmicrosoft.com

  1. Try sending Gabe Villasana (gabe.villasana@goveagle.onmicrosoft.com) a chat message on teams

    1. If you are able to, you have setup the teams permissions properly

GCC/GCC High Teams

  1. Navigate to https://admin.gov.teams.microsoft.us/dashboard

  2. Click on “Users” in the side panel

  1. Click on “External access” under Users

  1. Ensure that either “Allow all external domains”, “Allow only specific external domains”, or “Block only specific external domains” is selected

    1. If “Block all external domains” is selected, GovEagle support will not be accessible via Microsoft Teams chat

  1. If necessary, add the following as an external domain: zenfetch.onmicrosoft.us

  1. Try sending Gabe Villasana (gabe.villasana@zenfetch.onmicrosoft.us) a chat message on teams

    1. If you are able to, you have setup the teams permissions properly
